PSG’s summer started slowly – they had sold 3 first team players before they bought one – but the last couple of weeks have seen them make the additions they needed.

Randal Kolo Muani, Kang-in Lee, Goncalo Ramos all departed, with Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye are set to join them, but then Maghnes Akliouche and Ferran Torres have come in to replace them.

The latest to arrive was Mika Godts from Ajax. He’s just completed his transfer to Paris for a fee reported to be worth up to €55m.

PSG finalise group for the season with latest addition

This looks like it will be it for PSG’s transfer business, apart from a few potential sales of youngsters. Luis Enrique had a great squad already and has probably been forced into more changes than he would have liked simply because of players pushing to leave.

The Spanish coach will now just want to get to work on the training pitch with this new group, with the season just around the corner.

In other news…

Godts’ arrival spells the end for Bradley Barcola, who has made it clear he won’t sign a new contract and wants to leave. Liverpool are in talks.

Luis Enrique’s team decisions for the Trophee des Champions made his squad plans for the season ahead very clear.

The signing of Zion Suzuki from Parma looked like a done deal – but it collapsed at the last minute, leaving PSG back at square one in terms of finding a new goalkeeper.
