PSG have signed France international attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche (24) from AS Monaco, both clubs have announced. The two Ligue 1 sides were locked in talks for weeks regarding Akliouche, whose performances with his formative club earned him a spot in Didier Deschamps’ 2026 World Cup squad.

Akliouche was identified by the back-to-back UEFA Champions League winners as the ideal replacement for Lee Kang-in, who joined Atlético de Madrid in a €40m deal. The 24-year-old France international has made 139 appearances for the Principality side, scoring 23 goals and providing 28 assists. PSG and Monaco eventually reached an agreement close to the €50m mark. The player underwent his medical on Thursday.
