Quinten Timber (24) has completed a move to Olympique de Marseille. The Dutchman has signed a deal that runs until the summer of 2030.

Timber has joined from Feyenoord. The fee has not been disclosed, however, with his contract at the Eredivisie club nearing expiry at the time of the transfer, the fee is thought to be nominal. This season, the Netherlands international had made 24 appearances for Feyenoord, scoring four goals and registering four assists in that time.

Timber will wear the No.27 shirt for OM, having signed his contract on Friday. He is not the only arrival anticipated. Ethan Nwaneri’s move on loan from Arsenal is also expected to be officialised in the coming hours. There will be no buy option included in that deal.

It is thought that Timber’s arrival at the Vélodrome will put an end to Angel Gomes’ spell at OM. The England international has struggled since joining on a free transfer over the summer and an exit is envisaged this month.
