Official: Real Madrid learn referee appointment for Rayo Vallecano clash | OneFootball

La Liga leaders Real Madrid have been made aware of the official set to take charge of their upcoming meeting with Rayo Vallecano.

This comes amid confirmation of Juan Martínez Munuera being appointed for the fixture.

The Spaniard will be joined at Vallecas on Sunday afternoon by Jorge Figueroa Vázquez, tasked with overseeing VAR for the day.

Real Madrid will of course make the short trip to Vallecano with sights on a return to winning ways.

Los Blancos did secure another three-point haul in their most recent league outing, after making short work of Valencia to the tune of a 4-0 result last weekend.

In midweek, however, Xabi Alonso’s troops were condemned to just a 2nd defeat of the season, at the hands of Liverpool in the Champions League.

Should they manage to bounce back on Sunday, Real Madrid will head into the November international break with a minimum five-point advantage atop the La Liga table.
