Official: Real Madrid name new-look starting XI to face Kairat | OneFootball

The XI of players called upon by Real Madrid head coach for the club’s return to action this evening has been unveiled online.

And it features several noteworthy alterations.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action in short order.

Shifting focus back towards matters on the continent, Los Blancos have made the trip to Kazakhstan, for a Champions League meeting with Kairat.

The visitors head into proceedings nothing short of desperate for a bounce-back result, following a 5-2 Madrid Derby humiliation over the weekend.

And as alluded to above, a short time ago, the XI of players tasked with securing precisely as much was officially unveiled.

Xabi Alonso has opted for a number of changes to the line-up put to the sword by Atlético, with the likes of Álvaro Carreras, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham dropping out.

Stepping back in, meanwhile, are David Alaba, Fran García, Franco Mastantuono and more.
