Real Madrid will take on relegation-threatened Girona tonight in La Liga, away at Estadi Montilivi, hoping to reclaim top spot in the table.

The Merengues have drawn both of their last two league matches against Rayo Vallecano and Elche, allowing Barcelona to leapfrog them in the standings. As such, a victory is essential tonight for Xabi Alonso & co.

Ahead of the game, Real Madrid have now announced the squad list for the trip to Catalonia to face Girona.

The good news is that Alonso has welcomed three players back from injury as Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao, and Franco Mastantuono have returned to the squad list.

Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois is also back and available after missing the Olympiacos clash earlier this week due to gastroenteritis.

Raul Asencio is a fresh absentee for Real Madrid, as he did not train with the squad on Saturday due to illness and has not recovered sufficiently enough to travel.

Asencio joins Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, and Dean Huijsen on the sidelines.
