Real Madrid are gearing up for another exciting summer tour across the pond! As part of their pre-season schedule in the United States, Real Madrid will face off against some familiar European foes, giving fans a taste of the upcoming season’s intensity.
The team will take on opponents such as AC Milan and Chelsea, as well as arch-rivals FC Barcelona, which is by far the most anticipated game in the pre-season campaign.
In a social media post, Real Madrid have confirmed the exact dates and location of these friendlies.
The team will kick things off with a clash against Italian giants AC Milan on August 1, which will be followed by the highly-anticipated El Clasico. The game will be played at 03:30 CET.
Real Madrid will take on AC Milan at the Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago, which can house up to 61,500 fans.
Real Madrid will be locking horns with their eternal rivals, Barcelona, on August 4. The game will be played at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey – an 82,000-seater stadium home to American football team New York Jets. The game will be played at 01:00 CET.
All eyes will be on this particular Clasico, as Real Madrid fans could potentially witness Kylian Mbappe in action for the first time against their arch-rivals.
Real Madrid will wrap their US tour on August 6 when they take on Premier League giants Chelsea at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte – home to Charlotte FC with a capacity of more than 74,000. The game will be played at 01:00 CET.
