With the culmination of the summer transfer window a couple of weeks ago, La Liga has officially announced the salary cap for the teams in the first and second divisions of Spanish football for the 2025/26 season.
And, once again, Real Madrid have the highest salary cap, at €761.2 million, increasing from €754.8 million which was set in 2024 and remained constant during the last review in February earlier this year.
The salary limit is the maximum amount that the club can spend during the season after the operations carried out in the summer.
It includes the expenditure on players, the manager, and the coaching staff, along with the expenses on the reserve team, the youth academy, and the other sporting areas.

Real Madrid splurged the cash on four new signings this summer, bringing in Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Franco Mastantuono, and Alvaro Carreras. Although, it must be noted that three of the signings were completed in June.
Meanwhile, Los Blancos bid goodbye to players like Luka Modric, Jesus Vallejo, and Lucas Vazquez while a number of talented youngsters like Chema Andres, Victor Munoz, Jacobo Ramon, Alvaro Rodriguez, and Mario Martin, among others, also moved on.
While Real Madrid saw their squad cost limit increase by €6 million or so, their rivals FC Barcelona had their salary cap cut by €112 million.
