Official: Referee appointed for Napoli vs. Arsenal | OneFootball

Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg has been appointed for Wednesday’s Champions League match between Napoli and Arsenal at the Stadio Maradona.

UEFA has announced the referee and VAR for the upcoming Champions League match between Napoli and Arsenal.

Who is the Napoli vs. Arsenal referee?

Swedish Glenn Nyberg will officiate the game, joined by his assistants, Mahbod Beigi and Andreas Söderkvist, also from Sweden, as well as the fourth official Adam Ladebäck.

Spanish Carlos del Cerro Grande will oversee VAR alongside the French Jérôme Brisard, who will serve as the Assistant Video Assistant Referee.

Napoli have lost two of their opening three Serie A games this season, securing just one victory in the season’s opener against Genoa.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have won all their three Premier League games.

Aside from Arsenal, Napoli will also face Club Brugge, Bodo/Glimt and Viking at home, and Manchester City, Porto, Villarreal and Sabah away in the league phase of the Champions League.
