Roma have officially signed Australia international goalkeeper Mathew Ryan as a free agent after his experience with AZ Alkmaar.
The well-travelled shot-stopper turned 32 in April and was looking for a new experience after his contract ran down in the Netherlands.
His previous clubs include Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Real Sociedad, Valencia, KRC Genk, FC Copenhagen and Club Brugge.
He also has 92 senior caps for Australia, making his international debut back in December 2012.
He will act as understudy to Mile Svilar, who was promoted to first choice when Daniele De Rossi took over from Jose Mourinho in January.
The Socceroos star will wear shirt number 98.
