FERWAFA announces termination of Adel Amrouche's contract

The Rwanda Football Association (FERWAFA) announced on Wednesday, January 14, the immediate termination of the contract with Algerian coach Adel Amrouche, head coach of the Rwanda senior national team.

FERWAFA explains the reasons for ending Adel Amrouche's contract

In an official statement, the federation explained that this decision followed a thorough evaluation which revealed serious breaches of contract, contrary to the terms stipulated in the employment agreement, particularly those outlined in article 17.2.

FERWAFA noted that the Algerian coach was given sufficient time to provide his explanations regarding the reported irregularities. However, the information gathered led the governing body to opt for an early termination of the contract, without waiting for its scheduled end date.

In conclusion to its statement, the Rwanda Football Association expressed its gratitude to Adel Amrouche for his service during his tenure as head coach of the national team, while wishing him every success in the next chapter of his coaching career.

FERWAFA also stated that no further communication will be made regarding this matter.
