Official: Spalletti’s first Juventus squad of the 2026-27 season revealed | OneFootball

Luciano Spalletti has named a travelling squad of 26 players for Juventus’s first Serie A match of the season away against Torino on Sunday evening, including summer signings Randal Kolo Muani, Kerim Alajbegovic, Guglielmo Vicario, Jhon Lucumi and Zeki Celik.

It is a bumper squad for Spalletti on the first week of the 2026-27 Serie A season, and one that includes a few names and faces that haven’t played in Italy for some time: Douglas Luiz has returned from a disappointing 2025-26 season in the Premier League and is tipped to start on Sunday.

Nico Gonzalez has also reluctantly returned to Juventus after an enjoyable loan spell with Atletico Madrid last term, but the Argentine is still keen to return to Spain and is unlikely to be involved against Frosinone despite being called up.

All but one of Juve’s summer recruits have been included in the travelling squad for the Frosinone clash, but not the young Jeff Ekhator, who continues to make his way back from an early injury.

Despite bringing five new signings with him, Spalletti is only likely to start Vicario in goal and Kolo Muani in attack. It is expected that Alajbegovic, Lucumi and Celik will start amongst the substitutes.

Kick-off is due at 17.30 BST.

Goalkeepers: Perin, Pinsoglio, Vicario.

Defenders: Celik, Bremer, Kelly, Kalulu, Cambiaso, Rugani, Lucumi, Cabal.

Midfielders: Locatelli, Koopmeiners, D.Luiz, Thuram, Miretti, McKennie.

Forwards: Conceicao, Kolo Muani, Yildiz, Zhegrova, Boga, Milik, Alajbegovic, David, N.Gonzalez.
