The squad of players set to be depended upon by Barcelona to take on Atlético Madrid later this evening has been unveiled online.

And it features a pair of returning players, as well as a pair of fresh absentees.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course primed to close out their fixture list for the calendar year on Saturday night.

A showdown with the aforementioned Atlético Madrid lies in store, in a meeting between La Liga’s top two as things stand.

Amid a concerning recent run of form on the domestic front, Barcelona, in turn, will be desperate to close out 2024 with a return to winning ways, at the expense of their Rojiblancos counterparts.

Efforts towards as much, though, will come sans the contributions of two young members of the Blaugrana’s ranks.

This comes amid confirmation that Lamine Yamal (ankle) and Héctor Fort (hamstring) have been ruled out of the fixture through injury.

On the other hand, returning to the fray for Barca this evening will be defensive starlet Sergi Domínguez, and wide-man Ansu Fati.
