The month of November has not been ideal for Real Madrid, for they have dropped points in La Liga, allowing Barcelona to catch up to them in the table.

While Xabi Alonso’s team began the month in style with a thumping 4-0 win over Valencia, they ended up being held to two back-to-back draws by Rayo Vallecano (0-0) and Elche (3-3), leaving them just one point clear at the top.

The results might not have been up to expectations, but Real Madrid have remained unbeaten in the league this month and have continued as leaders.

It has now led to two of their players being nominated for La Liga awards for the month of November.

Indeed, Kylian Mbappe is in the running for the La Liga Player of the Month for November. The 26-year-old forward has two goals in three league games while also registering an assist, earning him a place in the nominations.

Mbappe will compete against Lamine Yamal, Mikel Oyarzabal, Antoine Griezmann, and Gerard Moreno for the honour.

Meanwhile, his teammate, Jude Bellingham, has been nominated for the La Liga U-23 Player of the Month prize.

After a slow start to the season following his recovery from injury, the England star has recovered his form and has two goals and an assist in Real Madrid’s three league matches this term.

Bellingham will compete with Fermin Lopez, Valentin Gomez, Alberto Moleiro, and Alvaro Rodriguez for the award.
