Union Berlin have signed Jordan Siebatcheu from BSC Young Boys as a replacement for Taiwo Awoniyi.
Union announced their new striker on Thursday after the 26-year-old completed his medical with the club.
Siebatcheu joins for €6m which could rise up to €8m with bonuses.
The forward has signed a contract that will keep him with Union until 2026.
Upon his arrival, Siebatcheu said:
“After two successful years in Bern, where as a young player I had the perfect environment to develop myself, the next step in my career is now ahead of me. I want to prove myself in the Bundesliga and I’m convinced that I’ve found the right club in Union. Their style of play suits me very well and I’m happy to go hunting for goals for the Irons in the unbelievable atmosphere at the Alte Försterei.”
Last season, Siebatcheu was the top goalscorer in the Swiss Super League with 22 goals to his name, taking his tally to 27 goals in 45 games across all competitions for Young Boys.
