Wolfsburg have completed the signing of German attacker Maximilian Philipp from Dynamo Moscow on a permanent basis on a four-year contract.

“I’m very happy to now be a permanent Green and White and be able to continue helping the team on our successful path,” said Philipp. “The anticipation ahead of the new season is huge, obviously because we’re playing in the Champions League but also because I can’t wait to finally get to play in front of our fans at the Volkswagen Arena.”

After spending the season on loan at Wolfsburg, the Bundesliga side opted against activating the purchase option and instead chose to negotiate a deal for around €7 million as opposed to the €11m clause.
