OL and Michele Kang approach DNCG hearing in calmer mood after 2025 shock | OneFootball

OL head into their latest hearing with the DNCG, the LFP’s financial control body, in a calmer mood, one year after the administrative relegation to Ligue 2 imposed on 24 June 2025 was overturned on appeal.

According to Le Progres, the club have since made significant efforts under Michele Kang, who is expected to take charge. She now plays a leading role in Lyon’s operations.

For three years, supporters have approached the twice-yearly DNCG checkpoints with unease. The time has come again, and a verdict is awaited.

Even so, optimism has returned after a year of work by the club, with Kang increasingly central to the project.

Since the sale to Eagle Football Group in December 2022, there have been several unwelcome surprises. The multi-club business plan championed by John Textor has not convinced the authorities, who remain concerned about the club’s financial sustainability.
