OL Lyonnes ratings: Selma Bacha shines as Ada Hegerberg subdued against Wolfsburg | OneFootball

OL Lyonnes beat Wolfsburg 4-0 after extra time on Thursday, Selma Bacha’s set pieces turning the tie as Ada Hegerberg carried little threat.

L'Équipe’s player ratings gave Bacha 8 for a complete display and dangerous deliveries, and she even halted a late break. Hegerberg was marked 4, tireless in the press but too wasteful.

Lyon led on 16 minutes when Lily Yohannes struck via a Minge deflection after Kadidiatou Diani won the ball and Korbin Shrader supplied the pass. Stina Johannes saved from Yohannes on 21 and Diani on 26, then denied Shrader on 54 and tipped Bacha’s effort on 56. Yohannes was booked on 59, Dumornay replaced her on 67, and Diani later made way for Becho on 82 before Johannes clawed away a Bacha free-kick on 86.

In extra time, Becho missed big openings on 93 and 96, and VAR ruled out a Becho cross for Katoto for offside on 98. Dumornay made it 2-0 on 102, another Bacha corner brought the third on 105+2, and Shrader departed for Benyahia on 107.

The fourth arrived on 119. Wolfsburg’s Stina Johannes earned 6 for shot-stopping despite aerial frailty, with Camilla Küver and Thea Bjelde also on 6 for resilience. Sarai Linder struggled on the left, rated 2, while Ella Peddemors and Vivien Endemann received 3s.
