OL Lyonnes set German camp and European friendlies for pre-season | OneFootball

OL Lyonnes will hold a pre-season camp in Herzogenaurach from 13-21 August, featuring games against Real Sociedad, Eintracht Frankfurt, Aston Villa and London City Lionesses. Only the 29 August fixture will be open to home supporters.

According to Le Progres, the club set out the schedule on Thursday, a little under 20 days before training resumes on 27 July.

The first friendly is on 8 August against Real Sociedad, third in last season’s Liga and in Champions League qualifying. It will be played at home at 11:00 behind closed doors.

During the German camp, Lyon face Eintracht Frankfurt, sixth in the Bundesliga, on 16 August at 13:00 on the Adidas campus.

The European runners-up then meet Aston Villa in Herzogenaurach on 21 August at 11:00.

Fans can return on 29 August at GOLTC for London City Lionesses, also owned by Michele Kang, time to be confirmed. The WSL side finished sixth and have signed Germany forward Nicole Anyomi from Eintracht Frankfurt and Spain star Alexia Putellas, a two-time Ballon d’Or winner, from Barcelona. Last year’s meeting at a similar time finished 3-1.

That showcase will be the final tune-up before Lyon travel to Fleury on 5 September at 21:00.
