OL set to keep first-leg XI for Fenerbahçe Champions League play-off second leg | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Lyon are expected to name the same starting XI as in the first leg when they host Fenerbahçe in Wednesday’s Champions League play-off second leg.

Paulo Fonseca declined to confirm it in Tuesday’s press conference, responding with a teasing smile that they would see. He rested 11 players at the weekend, when Lyon beat Toulouse 2-0 in Ligue 1.

Moussa Niakhaté has recovered from a heavy ankle knock and stayed in Lyon across the weekend, as did the rest of the defence. Centre-forward Loïs Openda did not play a minute against Toulouse.

Pavel Sulc returned to action and could be used late if Lyon need a goal, with an intention to press hard from the start in a sold-out Groupama Stadium.
