OL’s Champions League play-off second leg against Fenerbahçe at Groupama Stadium on Wednesday at nine pm has been rated level four out of five, high risk, by the DNLH. Tight restrictions will govern the arrival and movement of away supporters.

According to Le Progres, security meetings led by the Rhône Prefect on Monday resulted in a perimeter order covering Fenerbahçe fans’ movements.

On Wednesday 26 August, from eight am to midnight, anyone identifying as a Fenerbahçe supporter, or behaving as such, will be refused access to the stadium and its vicinity unless they first report to the mandatory rendezvous at Eurexpo and hold a match ticket.

A reinforced police operation, including mobile units, will enforce the order under the Prefect’s authority. Breaches of the order could lead to criminal penalties.

The transport and use of firecrackers and all pyrotechnic devices are banned inside and around Groupama Stadium and within the defined perimeter. 2,200 Fenerbahçe supporters, including 200 VIPs, are expected.
