According to Le Progres, for all Rémi Himbert’s drive on his first start, OL looked as if they could have played for hours without scoring against Paris FC, such was the shortage of quality in possession.
Greif was pivotal after the break, producing four big saves.
The pairing of Mata and Niakhaté again won their duels and showed discipline.
Morton was once more astute in his choices and smooth in distribution. The same core had lifted OL four days earlier against Lens.
Even so, the collective felt too meek, with little spark on the ball despite Himbert’s running.
