Both Roma and Napoli are seemingly interested in signing Ola Solbakken from Bodø/Glimt this summer. But the player’s contract with the Norwegian club expires in December 2022.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Norwegian broadcaster TV 2 Sporten has spotted Ola Solbakken arriving in Italy at the weekend. The report suggests that he didn’t undergo medical with Roma, but he had a meeting with the Giallorossi and other clubs on Sunday.
Other than Roma, several other clubs, including Napoli, have shown their interest in the 23-year-old winger this summer.
It appears as if Solbakken’s performances in the inaugural edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League have earned him a considerable amount of suitors across Europe.
But the player needs to agree to compensation with Bodø / Glimt in order to join a new club in this summer transfer window. If not, he could also make a free transfer in the next winter transfer window, as suggested in Di Marzio’s report.
