After making the move in January, Olakigbe featured 18 times in all competitions for the Robins, scoring a goal and picking up three assists in six starts.
WSG Tirol finished the 2025/26 season seventh before the league split, when they eventually stayed above the relegation group by three points.
Brentford B head coach Sam Saunders: “It’s a good opportunity for Michael to go and test himself again in men’s football, but this time abroad and showcase what he can do.
“From his loans in the Football League, it’ll be interesting to see how he goes and expresses himself abroad.
“I’m sure that he’ll get some great exposure and some good learnings, and we look forward to seeing him when he gets back.”
Olakigbe signed a long-term contract with the Bees in November 2023, a season where he made eight Premier League appearances.
He joined Peterborough United on loan the following January, featuring in five league games across the second half of the 2023/24 season before losing in the League One play-off semi-final.
The winger moved to Wigan Athletic on loan in May 2024, featuring 18 times before being recalled and joining Chesterfield Town on loan in January 2025 for the remainder of that season, with the Spireites bowing out in the League Two play-off semi-final.
Olakigbe returned to west London and was a half-time substitute in the Bees’ Professional Development League national final win over Bournemouth Under-21s.
