Oliver Mintzlaff has dismissed an Austrian report from Salzburger Nachrichten suggesting Jürgen Klopp could leave his Red Bull role soon.

Red Bull’s CEO of Corporate Projects and New Investments said the claim was baseless. "That is complete nonsense and entirely fabricated," he said.

"On the contrary: we are extremely satisfied with Jürgen Klopp’s work. He invests a great deal of effort, is in constant communication with our coaches and sporting directors, and is sustainably developing our Red Bull football philosophy."

"We are convinced that he is the right man for this job. That is where we are placing all of our focus and energy."

The report had raised questions over Klopp’s position as Head of Global Soccer. Mintzlaff’s comments underline Red Bull’s satisfaction with his work in the role.
