Barcelona will welcome Feyenoord at the Nou Camp this Wednesday as they look to secure a win at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan club managed to earn a dominant 5-0 win away at Valencia recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this clash.

Hansi Flick will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few tweaks to his first team for this game. Dani Olmo, Marc Bernal and Jules Kounde could all play from the start of this contest.

Defence

Joan Garcia will operate in between the sticks for Barcelona after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Pau Cubarsi will play alongside Andreas Christensen at the centre of the Barcelona backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Jules Kounde will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Xavi Espart hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they can get.

Gerard Martin and Joao Cancelo will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Pedri and Marc Bernal will operate as the holding midfielders as they hope to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Anthony Gordon, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal will operate just ahead of them as part of the Barcelona attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Catalan club are to secure a victory in midweek.

Rodri and Fermin Lopez will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Raphinha will spearhead Barcelona’s attack in the final third. He managed to get his name on the scoresheet against Valencia, which should give them some confidence going into this game.

Karim Adeyemi will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if required.
