Olympique de Marseille sign Sochaux midfielder Victor Joseph | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille have signed 19-year-old Haitian midfielder Victor Joseph from Sochaux, the move confirmed on Tuesday.

The club said in a statement that Joseph has signed until 2028 and will initially join the Pro 2 group, coached by Romain Ferrier in National 3, to continue his development.

Joseph has made only nine first-team appearances for Sochaux, four in National and five in the Coupe de France.

He stood out at youth level, playing 26 matches for Sochaux’s U19s in 2024-2025 and scoring 15 goals.

This season with the reserves, he has eight outings, averaging 72 minutes, and has scored two goals.

Before entering Sochaux’s academy at 16, he featured for Paris FC, Union sportive Lusitanos de Saint-Maur, Red Star FC and AAS Sarcelles, then joined INF Clairefontaine in 2019-2020.

Marseille have already added Ethan Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal and Quinten Timber from Feyenoord for €6.5 million.
