On Sunday night, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged a brace against Olympique Lyonnais (3-2) in Ligue 1.

Scoring twice, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also made his mark through relentless effort during the Olympico between OM and OL. Speaking to RMC radio, the former Saint-Étienne striker reflected on his work rate throughout the game.

"Intensity is what football is all about these days—you have to adapt. Personally, I still feel great. It's true that towards the end of the match, I won't lie, I had a bit of cramp (laughs). But it's enjoyable. I love putting in the effort, especially when the whole stadium rises to its feet after you make a defensive tackle. You do it with pleasure, even though it's obviously not easy. I came back here to enjoy myself, and I know that means working hard," Aubameyang said.
