O&M FC, Cibao FC even in first leg of Caribbean Cup semifinals | OneFootball

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued with Universidad O&M FC and Cibao FC playing to a 1-1 draw in the First Leg of their Semifinals series on Thursday at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Cibao FC opened the scoring in the 7’ when Rivaldo Correa’s blocked shot, off a corner kick, deflected perfectly to Ernesto Trinidad in front of the net.

Universidad O&M FC found the equalizer in the 25’ as Herard Frantzety stepped up from the penalty spot and scored his third goal of the tournament.

Cibao’s Leonardo Villalba received a red card in the 76’ as the visitors played down a man through the final minutes.

The Second Leg of this Semifinals series will be played next Thursday at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
