Universidad O&M FC sits in second place of the group after a 2-nil victory over Central FC in the opening matchweek. Julen Manterola and Ányelo Gómez scored in the second half to earn the side the full three points.

This will be the first meeting between the clubs. SV Robinhood has a strong record against Dominican clubs in this tournament, with three victories and only one loss. Universidad O&M FC has only faced one Surinamese team in its history, a 1-1 draw vs. Inter Moengotapoe in 2021.

Historical Series

SV Robinhood and Universidad O\&M FC will face each other for the first time in the Concacaf Caribbean Cup—and in their history.

For SV Robinhood, this will be their 5th match against a Dominican Republic club in the history of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup. For O\&M FC, it will be their second matchup against a team from Suriname. Their first was a 1-1 draw against Inter Moengotapoe on May 19, 2021, in Group A at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo (DOM), with Hilario Mena scoring for O\&M FC and Donnegy Fer for the Surinamese side.

SV Robinhood holds a record of 3 wins and 1 loss against Dominican clubs in the Caribbean Cup. Their only defeat came in a 1-0 loss to Moca FC in the first leg of the semifinals on October 25, 2023, at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros (DOM), with Gustavo Ascona scoring from the penalty spot.

This will also mark the 5th meeting between Dominican and Surinamese clubs in the history of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup, with Surinamese clubs holding the advantage: 3 wins and 1 loss.

• SV Robinhood 1-0 vs Cibao FC

• SV Robinhood 3-1 vs Atlético Pantoja

• SV Robinhood 0-1 vs Moca FC

How did SV Robinhood perform in Week 2?

SV Robinhood drew 2-2 with Central FC in Group A and extended their winless streak to two matches (1 loss, 1 draw). However, the result helped them preserve their home unbeaten record in the competition: five wins and one draw. The draw also ended a run of four consecutive home victories.

Ravello Zijler and Mauro Santos each scored their first-ever goal in the Concacaf Caribbean Cup. Notably, Santos became the first Brazilian—and the first non-Surinamese—player to score for SV Robinhood in the competition, ending a streak of 12 straight goals scored by Surinamese players for the club.
