"This morning, there were lots of smiles. The connection with the players was excellent. We talked, I shared my ambitions with them. They are the driving force. Being out on the pitch always brings us back to that sense of enjoyment, which must be ever-present every day. I won't reveal everything, but there's one element that's fundamental for me in what we're about to experience: the notion of enjoyment. If today, we don't take pleasure in being at OM, in playing at the Vélodrome, in representing OM every second, then unfortunately, something will be missing for us," he said.

Beye's first match in charge of Marseille will be on Friday in Ligue 1 away to Brest.
