Omar Da Fonseca and Julien Brun join Disney+ as Liga commentators | OneFootball

Omar Da Fonseca has left beIN Sports after 14 years to join Disney+ as a Liga commentator. According to L'Équipe, the 66-year-old will work alongside Julien Brun.

Brun, 48, has previously called games for beIN, Prime Video and DAZN. He was off the mic last season until M6 hired him to commentate the 2026 World Cup this summer with Samuel Umtiti.

The Brun-Da Fonseca duo will handle the standout Liga fixtures for Disney+, which holds all Spanish top-flight matches, as does DAZN, for the next three seasons.

They will be on the opening game this Saturday, 15 August, Alaves v Getafe at 19:30.

Real Madrid face Real Sociedad and Barcelona meet Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday 26 August and Thursday 27 August respectively, both at 21:00.

Beyond the showcase games, other matches will be called by a journalist. Viewers will hear Alban Lepoivre on Saturday for Sevilla v Rayo Vallecano at 21:00.
