Having scored against Brest to secure AS Monaco’s fifth consecutive league victory, the Rouge et Blanc’s number 10 was overwhelmingly voted MVP of the match on the occasion of his 200th Ligue 1 appearance.

He was simply brilliant during this match—a symbolic one for him—having recently reached the milestone of 250 appearances in the colors of AS Monaco, Aleksandr Golovin has indeed just crossed the 200 mark in Ligue 1, becoming only the 23rd Monégasque to have done this in history. It was thus another milestone reached in the Club’s history—one he celebrated perfectly by being named MVP against Brest (2-0).

Two superb strikes to test Coudert… 🚀

It must be said that the Russian midfielder—who was once again called up to the national squad—made a tremendous effort to help the Rouge et Blanc secure a fifth consecutive league victory. First, with a direct free kick from 20 meters out, parried with a firm hand by Grégoire Coudert (35′); then, with a sublime curling right-footed shot that was heading straight for the top corner, only to be tipped away once again by the opposing goalkeeper (51′).

…before finding the top corner 🕸️

His selflessness was then rewarded some twenty minutes later when, during an exchange with Mamadou Coulibaly, the number 10 wasted no time, blasting the ball under the crossbar to seal this latest victory (2–0, 78′). Scoring for the fifth time against *Les Ty-Zefs*, Golo’ continues his superb form, having now been directly involved in seven goals in 2026 (2 goals, 5 assists).

Dominant at both ends of the pitch to preserve the clean sheet ⚔️

Decisive offensively, notably with 100% of his dribbles completed and three passes in the final third, he was equally crucial defensively, helping the Club secure another clean sheet by winning seven duels and making two interceptions. It was a complete performance, therefore, which earned him his third MVP award this season with 86% of the vote, ahead of Folarin Balogun, who had opened the scoring, and Maghnes Akliouche.
