A head-turning statistic, highlighting the ongoing excellence of Barcelona star Raphinha in the final third, has on Tuesday come to the fore online.

Wide-man Raphinha is of course in the midst of nothing short of a spectacular campaign to date with Barcelona.

After finding the net once more en route to the Blaugrana’s 7-1 La Liga downing of Valencia over the weekend, the Brazilian took his tally to a hefty 34 direct goal contributions across all competitions.

And whilst it has been Raphinha’s endeavours in front of goal which have taken the majority of the headlines owing to his 23-goal haul, the former Leeds United man’s creative exploits should also be taken note of.

As revealed by statisticians StatMuse, Raphinha has created a whopping 67 changes in La Liga in 2024/25.

This is a full 16 more than the player in 2nd place in the same category, Álex Baena having managed 51 opportunities created for Villarreal.
