Semenyo was at his dominant best and he provided a big glimpse of what may lie ahead for him next season.

Unfortunately, Semenyo’s right-footed shot was smartly saved by Inter Milan keeper Josep Martínez. However that moment showed the damage that Semenyo can cause on the left wing.

Semenyo’s goals were vital for his team and he scored the winner in the FA Cup final against Chelsea. Despite the fact that Semenyo was a solid contributor for his new team he was learning on the fly at City.

Now, it looks like Semenyo has come to grips with being a Manchester City player. That isn’t to say Semenyo didn’t have this last season. He did need time to settle into his new surroundings. Based on what Semenyo showed against Inter and the confidence that he played with, the Ghana international has now done this. It was only a preseason friendly but Semenyo now looks poised to take his game up a gear.

Antoine Semenyo looks like a player who is poised to inflict maximum damage next season. The way Enzo Maresca likes his wingers to operate is seemingly made for Semenyo. He was dominant and devastating against Inter Milan. If the opening 45 minutes Semenyo played at the Kai Tak Stadium is a sign of things to come from him, he will be a massive factor for Manchester City next season.
