‘One of the best in the world’ – Erling Haaland hails Real Madrid star | OneFootball

Manchester City and Norway star Erling Haaland has this weekend moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents of Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham.

This of course comes fresh off the latter’s latest standout performance on the international stage.

Bellingham’s England went head-to-head with Norway on Saturday evening, with a place in the semi-finals of the World Cup on the line. And en route to an eventual 2-1 Three Lions triumph, Bellingham proved himself the star of the show.

After Norway took the lead in the clash during the first-half, the 23-year-old responded with a match-winning brace at the other end.

Bellingham, in turn, has since been lavished in deserved praise across world football. And as alluded to above, amongst those first to hail the all-action midfielder post-match on Saturday was Erling Haaland.

After seeing his Norwegian World Cup dream brought to an end at the hands of his former Borussia Dortmund teammate, frontman Haaland admitted:

“Real Madrid and England are lucky to have Jude Bellingham. Everyone wants Jude Bellingham on their team.

“He is a midfielder yet he does everything on the pitch. He’s one of the best players in the world.”
