Pearce briefly coached Ramazani and he had some promising things to say about the Whites' new recruit.
Former Leeds United defender Jason Pearce has labelled his old side's new signing Largie Ramazani as one of the best talents he has seen.
Taking to X, Pearce also revealed that he thought the Whites had made a "big signing", with the wide player completing his £10.2m move from Almeria.
He is a much-needed signing, with the Whites losing both Crysencio Summerville and Jaidon Anthony since the end of last term.
Anthony didn't feature that heavily and spent a decent chunk of his time at Elland Road on the bench, but Summerville was a crucial first-teamer and contributed a huge amount during the 2023/24 campaign.
Registering plenty of goals and assists and playing a big part in Leeds' finish in the top three last season, he will be difficult to replace, but Ramazani could be the man to fill the void that the Dutchman created with his departure.
Summerville and Anthony aren't the only attacking assets that Daniel Farke has lost since the play-off final, with Georginio Rutter also sealing an exit.
This has made it even more important that the Whites bring in more firepower before the window closes, and Ramazani could be a key part of Leeds' jigsaw during the upcoming season and potentially beyond.
The West Yorkshire side's newest signing was born in Belgium, but spent part of his time as a youth time at Charlton Athletic and Manchester United.
He graduated from the latter's academy and even played for the Red Devils at a senior level, but he only made one senior appearance and this came in the form of a short cameo in the Europa League.
Failing to establish himself as an important first-teamer at Old Trafford, he then moved to Spanish side Almeria and was a crucial player for them during his four-year stay there.
Pearce coached during his time as a player at Charlton - and he saw Ramazani in action during that time.
Wowed by what he saw during their brief time together, the former defender took to X after seeing Leeds sign the winger, posting: "Big signing 👏🏻 I remember coaching his age for a few weeks before Man United signed him. One of the best talents I’ve seen."
Leeds could benefit from having Ramazani in their squad.
With the Whites needing wide players, the 23-year-old could be what Leeds need, as a promising winger who should only get better.
That could make him a good replacement for Summerville - and the fact he has played in the Spanish top tier should serve him well at this level.
It may take him a bit of time to get into his stride.
