One victim remains in a life-threatening condition after violence on the eve of the Coupe de France final in Paris. The clashes unfolded before Lens beat Nice 3-1.
According to the Paris prosecutor's office, one of the three people admitted in critical condition after the incidents still had their life in danger on Saturday evening. The clashes in the 10th arrondissement involved around 100 Nice hooligans.
After a walk along the Canal Saint-Martin, a large fight broke out on the Quai de Valmy, leaving six injured.
Of the 60 adults held in custody, 17 are to be brought before an investigating magistrate on Sunday as part of a judicial investigation into intentional violence. The allegations cover injuries causing total incapacity to work of eight days or less, and of more than eight days, in both cases aggravated by use of a weapon and acting in a group.
Seven others are to be presented on Sunday to a liberties and detention judge ahead of immediate trial. A further eight have been referred under a summons by report with requests for judicial supervision pending their hearing. Another 28 will later appear before the correctional court on a police summons.
