The second quarter-final sees one of the tournament favourites take on a Belgium side that has rediscovered its belief after an impressive knockout victory.
Here are the big questions on Day 29.
Spain v Belgium
Spain have quietly looked like the most complete team left in the tournament. Luis de la Fuente's side reached the quarter-finals with a disciplined 1-0 win over Portugal, extending their unbeaten run to 35 matches.
Belgium meanwhile produced one of the standout performances of the Round of 16 by beating hosts USA 4-1. Rudi Garcia's side combined clinical finishing with attacking flair to book their place in the last eight, although they will be without influential midfielder Amadou Onana through injury.
Spain will start as favourites, but Belgium have enough experience and firepower to cause problems if they can disrupt Spain's rhythm.
Our prediction: Spain 2-0 Belgium

If Spain are to continue their march towards the World Cup title, Rodri is likely to be at the heart of it.
The Ballon d'Or winner has once again dictated games with his composure, positioning and passing range, providing the platform for Spain's possession-based approach. While others grab the headlines in attack, Rodri's ability to control the tempo could be the decisive factor against Belgium's dangerous counter-attacking threat.
Spain have kept a clean sheet in each of their last six World Cup games, the longest run by any side in the competition's history.
