Matteo Moretto reports that Nottingham Forest are pushing to sign Douglas Luiz from Juventus, on loan with an option to buy.

Premier League side Nottingham Forest have resumed their interest in Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz and, according to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, they are “pushing” to sign the Brazilian from Juventus.

According to the report, the English club are open to signing the ex-Aston Villa star on loan with an option to buy, which becomes an obligation to purchase under certain conditions.

The figures behind the potential deal are still unclear, but while Juventus are looking for a permanent transfer, Forest are more inclined to discuss an initial loan deal.

Moretto adds that Nottingham Forest already enquired about Douglas Luiz in the January transfer window.

A former Aston Villa star, Douglas Luiz, is not part of Igor Tudor’s plans, but resumed training with the rest of the team a few days ago after missing the first few days of pre-season without the club’s consent.
