Trabzonspor beat Gaziantep 2-1 in the Süper Lig on Sunday, overturning an early deficit inside five minutes to stay third.

Mohamed Bayo struck in the 22nd minute, turning in Karamba Gassama's low delivery to give Gaziantep the lead. Moments later, Felipe Augusto levelled (24.) from Ernest Muci's through ball, and Paul Onuachu completed the turnaround with a composed finish (27.).

After the restart, André Onana kept Trabzonspor in front with a series of sharp saves, denying Bayo and Christopher Lungoyi as the hosts pressed. The Cameroon international finished with six saves, while Onuachu, the league's leading scorer with 17 goals this season, provided the cutting edge when it mattered.

Gaziantep carried threat from set pieces in the second half, with Tayyib Talha Sanuc heading just over from a corner, but the visitors' back line held firm through added time.

Gaziantep registered 15 attempts, seven on target, and delivered 11 corners as they chased an equaliser. Trabzonspor produced 13 attempts and managed four on target during a clinical first half.

Next, Gaziantep visit Samsunspor in the league. Trabzonspor host Fatih Karagümrük next.
