It’s been a week since Oosterwolde’s return to Turkey.
After his medical, Roma decided not to sign the player due to the excessive recovery time from a hamstring tendon injury.

Roma’s medical staff also warned Fenerbahce of the risk of surgery, and today the Dutchman will undergo surgery.
Cihan Kamer, a member of Fenerbahce’s board of directors, confirmed: “Negotiations with Roma fell through due to Oosterwolde’s injury. He’ll undergo surgery today.” He is scheduled to return to action in January.
