Oosterwolde hopes to return to Roma in January | OneFootball

The notable absentee from Thursday’s match in Istanbul between Roma and Fenerbahce was none other than Jayden Oosterwolde, the Dutch giant that Roma had acquired from Fenerbahce on August 25th to strengthen their defence, only to then decide to send him back due to some issues that emerged during his medical.

On Thursday afternoon, Oosterwolde was in the stands at the Chobani Stadium for the return of Roma and Fenerbahce in the Champions League, a competition from which the two clubs had been absent for 7 and 18 years respectively.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Oosterwolde greeted many people, including those he’d met in the capital in the few days before his return to Istanbul. And when asked if the rumors of his possible return to the capital, this time in January, were true, Jayden responded candidly. “I hope to come back to Rome in the next months.”
