Utrecht 1-1 PEC Zwolle at Stadion Galgenwaard as the hosts climb to eighth in the Eredivisie.

In the 12th minute, Ángel Alarcón rifled into the top half of the net from the right side of the box after Dani de Wit's pass put him through.

Vasilis Barkas kept Utrecht in front with smart stops from Younes Namli either side of the break, while Tom de Graaff denied Alarcón low to his right during a sustained home spell.

After substitute Jan Faberski arrived (71.), he created the equaliser, crossing for Thijs Oosting to turn in from close range (79.).

Faberski was sent off in the third minute of second half stoppage time.

Utrecht pushed for a winner in added time, with Jesper Karlsson and David Min both missing presentable chances.

Utrecht registered 24 attempts and six corners. Zwolle produced nine attempts.
