City duo Nico O'Reilly and Phil Foden have both been nominated for the Premier League's Adobe Express Moment of the Match award for August.

Cherki up for Premier League Goal of the Month award

O’Reilly’s moment came during last Friday’s superb 4-1 win at Crystal Palace.

His contribution saw the Academy graduate beat two defenders at once by using his strength holding off his closest marker before backheeling the ball through their legs and turning upfield.

Foden’s moment meanwhile came during a flowing move in City’s 2-1 victory at home to Bournemouth on the opening day of the Premier League season.

It saw the England star create a goalscoring opportunity with a first-time backheel past his marker to complete a one-two with Rico Lewis in the opening moments vs Bournemouth.

The talented City pair are up against Newcastle’s Joe Willock, Hull City’s Ollie McBurnie, and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott who have also been nominated.
