Manchester City locked horns with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 28th minute when Rodrygo got his name on the scoresheet. However, Nico O’Reilly equalised for Man City just seven minutes later before Erling Haaland completed the turnaround from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute. The Mancunian giants went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.

Man City controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes and secured a narrow 2-1 win at the Bernabeu.
