Orlando Pirates' loanee Tefo Mofokeng has won the September player of the month award in the Botswana FNB Premiership.

The Bucs' starlet has been in red-hot form for Mochudi Centre Chiefs as he is among the top goal scorers with four goals in eight matches played in the league.

As a result, the supporters voted for him to clinch the Strictly Football Podcast's player of the month gong.

Mofokeng signed for Chiefs in February after impressing with Pirates' feeder team Pele Pele (now Orlando Pirates) in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.

Chiefs were impressed and opted to extend the player's stay in Botswana - a decision that is proving to pay dividends.
