The latest established Orlando Pride player to sign a contract extension is defender Cori Dyke. She was on the pitch for the squad’s 14th clean sheet of the season. That was the NWSL Championship game that won the league.
Dyke signed a contract extension through 2027. She serves as a model for anchoring the squad that brought the city of Orlando its first major league championship.
In 2024, Dyke appeared in 26 matches. She contributed to 12 of the team’s 14 clean sheets while providing one assist.
Look for her assist count to increase this season. That’s because the Pride just signed defender Oihane Hernandez to the backline. She’s effective at distributing from the back and then creating chances. As defenders join the attack, Dyke will work the ball to scorers more often.

Dyke has represented the U.S. Women’s National Team from U-14 squads through U-23. That includes playing with the U-19 that won first place in the 2017 CFA tournament.
While at Penn State University, she was named the 2023 Big 10 Defender of the Year. She totaled 108 collegiate appearances. All appearances were starts. She tallied nine goals and nine assists. She converted four of her five penalty kick attempts.
She strengthens the backline with her tactical intelligence, versatility, and leadership, observed Pride Vice President and Sporting Director Haley Carter. These qualities enable her to embody the team’s culture and commitment.
The team won the NWSL Shield and then the league championship. Yet during the 2025 season, supporters will see even more accomplishments. Cori Dyke will be on the pitch when the Orlando Pride shows them.
