La Liga outfit Osasuna have on Sunday announced the contract renewal of a crucial member of the club’s first-team ranks.
The player in question? Aimar Oroz.
Midfielder Oroz has of course long established himself as a key contributor in Vicente Moreno’s Osasuna XI.
The 22-year-old featured in 33 of the Rojillos’ 38 league outings last season, rewarded for his endeavours with a place in Spain’s ultimately triumphant squad at the Olympic Games.
And Oroz has since gone on to play a leading role across the early weeks of Osasuna’s 2024/25 campaign, too, afforded a starting berth in each of the club’s four fixtures.
After links with a move to the likes of Girona and Athletic Club during the summer, all of a Rojillos persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to hear of Oroz, this weekend, committing his future to the club.
As per a statement across their website and social media platforms, on Sunday:
‘Club Atlético Osasuna re-signed midfielder Aimar Oroz through June 30, 2029, the club announced today. The extension joins the homegrown player and the Rojillo entity for three additional seasons to their previous agreement, which expired in 2026.’
