Osasuna dealt Oroz injury blow before Valencia | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Osasuna have on Friday confirmed a considerable blow on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that midfield star Aimar Oroz has picked up an injury.

Oroz, for his part, has played a pivotal role for Jagoba Arrasate’s side across the season to date, adding some welcome flair and guile to Osasuna’s ranks in the middle of the park.

All told, the 22-year-old has featured in all but one of Los Rojillos’ La Liga outings, notching 24 starts along the way.

Upon returning to action in a meeting with Valencia next Monday night, however, Arrasate and his coaching staff will be forced to make do without Oroz’s considerable talents.

This comes after the Spaniard suffered an injury in training this week.

As per an official statement across Osasuna’s website and social media plaforms:

‘Aimar Oroz has carried out individual work after the medical tests that he has undergone at the University of Navarra Clinic confirmed that he has a muscle injury in the rectus femoris of his left leg.’

It remains to be seen just how long Oroz is set to spend on the sidelines.
